The Suffusion theme scores heavily in all the essential areas required for most small business enterprises. The theme, according to Sayontan, is W3C compliant with both CSS and XHTML. On this particular item I tend to disagree. Sending Suffusion pages through the w3c markup validation service gives several errors, though to be fair I haven’t found many pages that pass the tests. Just try sending any Google page through the w3c validation tests to see what I mean.

How Much Time Will I Need?

To get the theme up and running with a standard style (presuming you already have WordPress setup) will take just a few minutes. To configure everything just the way you want it, will take considerably longer. Getting the fonts, colours and layout just right for your business is mainly a case of trial and error, so give yourself plenty of time for this stage. The menu system and layout does take a little getting used to, but persevere and you will be rewarded with a great looking web site.

Overall the Suffusion theme is a very attractive, relatively easy to use, power packed theme. It does not require advanced programming language knowledge though every little helps. Personally, I find the menu system a little confusing, but then again I’ve said that about Microsoft Office for over ten years and I’m still using it.
