They offer a wide range of online site builders and software such as FrontPage, Expressions or Dreamweaver and the major blogging applications such as Drupal, Joomla, WordPress etc. Plus good website templates, site builders and free scripts. You also get a free domain for the first year, which cannot be bad. They also have a mass of tutorials available that look extremely helpful, especially for newbies.

The core features include, unlimited disk space, transfer/bandwidth, domains and MySQL databases. You get a free domain name, $50 credit for Google AdWords and $25 credit for Yahoo Sponsored Search. The standard email forwarding, autoresponders etc. are available along with various shopping carts with PayPal integration.

iPage offer a tempting package for most users, but more advanced users may struggle with the iPage control panel called ‘vDeck’. Those used to using the cPanel interface will find it a little unusual. This aside the tools and services offered are very good. For WordPress users the usual one click install is available along with a large library of free scripts for more complicated requirements, plus the usual photo galleries etc.
