How to Download OpenX Ad Server to Your Desktop

An OpenX Tutorial

Welcome to this tutorial on using OpenX. Today we are going to cover downloading the OpenX software to your desktop.

Open Your browser

The first thing you need to do is start your browser, I’m using Firefox but you can use whichever browser you feel comfortable with.

We are going to search for the OpenX download, so open a search engine, I’m going to be using Google as that seems to be the most popular.

Search For OpenX Download

Select the search entry text box and enter "OpenX" then click the start search button.

Find the entry result with "www.openx.org" as its address. If you are having difficulties you can also enter the address directly into the address bar at the top.

When the OpenX home page opens click the OpenX community download link. It would be a good idea to bookmark this page so you can view the community information later.

When the products page opens click on the get OpenX Community Download text link and when the product download page opens click the download OpenX text link to begin the download.

Save The File

The Windows Save As Dialog box will then open asking you where you want to save the file.

Click on the Desktop button and then click the save button.

The file will download to your desktop quite quickly as it’s just a small file.

Success
