3 New Shopify Features
It looks like the guys and gals at Shopify have been working hard to ship projects before the holidays. Here are three new Shopify features to assist you in your business ventures.
Google Analytics: Enhanced Ecommerce
Shopify has partnered with Google to integrate Enhanced Ecommerce, which provides insight into a customer’s path to purchase. That includes when customers add items to cart, complete a purchase, or fall out of the funnel. Shopify is one of only four ecommerce partners supporting Enhanced Ecommerce.

Shopify Payments UK
Now UK-based Shopify stores can accept credit cards directly with Shopify. For new Shopify customers this will facility will be enabled automatically. Existing UK shops can switch to Shopify Payments from their Payments Settings screen.
What does this mean for you? It means no more Shopify plan transaction fees and lower credit card rates: 2.4% + 20p (Basic), 2.1% + 20p (Professional), or 1.8% + 20p (Unlimited), with no hidden charges or extra fees.
For existing Unlimited customers switching to Shopify Payments, Shopify are offering a free month of processing up to £25,000 in sales.

Risk Analysis
Shopify’s Risk Analysis feature lowers your clients’ risk of accepting a fraudulent order by flagging orders with areas of concern. Shopify is now offering its Risk Analysis feature to merchants on Professional or higher plans, in addition to those using Shopify Payments.
