Subscribe Via RSSCommission Junction Name Changes
I just logged into Commission Junction today and was greeted by a new green screen of text and links that I’d never seen before. The logo had changed from the usual Commission Junction logo to the new CJ Affiliate by Conversant logo.
- According to CJ, “We’re very excited to announce that all ValueClick, Inc. companies – Commission Junction, Dotomi, Greystripe, Mediaplex, and ValueClick Media – are now united and operating as Conversant.”

Former Commission Junction competitor beFree, Inc. was acquired by ValueClick, Inc. in 2002, before Commission Junction. beFree was gradually phased out in favor of Commission Junction. On February 3, 2014 ValueClick, Inc. announced it has changed it’s name to Conversant, Inc., bringing former ValueClick, Inc. companies Commission Junction, Dotomi, Greystripe, Mediaplex, and ValueClick Media under one name. Commission Junction will be known as CJ Affiliate by Conversant.
If, like me, you’ll need to change the “Commssion Junction” text on your blog to ” CJ Affiliate by Conversant”, then I suggest using the WordPress plugin, Search Regex. You’ll find the latest version in the WordPress plugins directory [http://wordpress.org/plugins/search-regex/].
